Jumping Genres in June Blog Hop

I'm so pleased to participate in the Jumping Genres in June Hop! For this hop, I am offering a copy of one of my favorite new ghost stories by Margo Bond Collins, Waking up Dead.

I love a good ghost story. Most recently, I watched the first Woman in Black movie. It got trashed in the reviews, but I loved it! I kept wondering why Harry wouldn't crack a patronus on the woman in black, but still. So how about a book where the protagonist is a ghost??

Novel Description:

She expected heaven or hell. She got Alabama.

When Dallas resident Callie Taylor died young, she expected to go to heaven, or maybe hell.

Instead, when she met her fate early thanks to a creep with a knife and a mommy complex, she went to Alabama. Now she's witnessed another murder, and she's not about to let this one go. She's determined to help solve it before an innocent man goes to prison. And to answer the biggest question of all: why the hell did she wake up dead in Alabama?

Watch for the next book! Playing Dead: A Callie Taylor Mystery ~ Coming Soon!

  4. Well, the scariest ghost movie that I'd ever watched was the Entity. Scared the caboodle's out of me. I don't think I slept for a week after that one. So, I'm going to have to go with the Movie Ghost with Demi Moore. That was such a good movie. Thanks so much for the chance!!!

  15. You are far too young to know about it but there was a TV show about a ghost in the early 50s called Topper. There was also a movie (much older) with the same name and storyline. I have no idea why I know it so well because I was only 3-5 when the TV show was on, but I really liked it.
